A highly qualified marine engineer with extensive academic training and professional affiliations in the maritime and engineering sectors.

Charalambos Manoli was born in Famagusta on 21 February 1960. He studied at the Higher Technical Institute of Nicosia from 1977 to 1980 and obtained the HTI Diploma in Naval Engineering. From 1982 to 1984 he studied at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering. In 1993 – 1996 he studied at ”The Centre of Advanced Maritime Studies” in Edinburgh where he obtained a Diploma in Management of ships operation. From 2005-2007 he studied by correspondence at the University of Leicester where he obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Administration.

Currently, Charalambos Manoli is a member of the Engineering Council (Chartered Engineer), the Institute of Naval Engineers, the Royal Institute of Naval Architects, the Energy Institute and ETEC.
